“Thus far, we have focused most of our time and efforts on our Periods of Power initiative; however, we are making steady progress on our other three initiatives. Although we are in the early stages, our goal is to always centre the community amidst all the work we do. Periods of Power and Cozy Covers are implemented in both countries. However, in India, we emphasize menstrual education since public awareness is limited. Sewn for Success and H2O for Humanity are mainly focused on India, where tailoring is a viable livelihood and clean water access remains a critical need. We adapt each program to address the specific challenges in each community.”
