Spread the love

Weddings for him are a connection that lasts, that tells a story, that heals. And sure, a stunning lehenga or a dapper suit adds to the glamour, but it’s the stories, the emotions, and the connections we capture that truly bring people closer. Bollywood Calling

“Honestly, it felt like the universe handed me the golden key to the kingdom of filmmaking. Shah Rukh Khan wasn’t just a superstar; to me, he was the mentor of a lifetime. Imagine being a young enthusiast in the vast world of cinema and receiving guidance from SRK himself. He has this way of inspiring you, not just with his words but with the passion he brings to every project. It was like attending the most exhilarating master class every day,” he says. He also credits director and choreographer Farah Khan, who unravelled the art of dissecting a film piece by piece, making it an art form he never knew existed. “She taught me that breaking down a film isn’t just about understanding its structure but feeling its pulse. And Santosh Sivan, the maestro of visuals. From him, I learned the sheer power of a frame, the story it can tell, the emotions it can evoke. He showed me that the rules of cinema are there, but sometimes, to truly capture the essence of a moment, you need to bend them, even break them,” he says.

“Working with such legends at Red Chillies wasn’t just a job; it was the foundation of everything I know and love about film today. It was where I learned that filmmaking is not just an art or a science, but a heartbeat,” says Punjabi.
