As a diet that works on reducing inflammation – often the cause of undetected weight gain, the anti inflammatory diet is once again the spotlight.
The anti-inflammatory diet is based on the food that will bring down chronic inflammation in the body. Chronic inflammation causes can cause among other issues heart disease and diabetes. Prepare meals beforehand and use anti-inflammatory ingredients like vegetables, protein sources preferably lean, and whole grains.
Turmeric and ginger are also powerful anti-inflammatory foods. Add them to your meals, smoothies, or tea and you can add them to your daily diet.
