A beautiful property located on the edge of the river has several lagoons within its premises and is also a great example of how to be a sustainable property.
One of my most favourite places within Kerala is Kumarakom, as it is a place that I have always associated with birds. Hence an invite to visit CGH Coconut Lagoon was something I was looking forward to.
And when I visited the property, I found out so much more about the flora, fauna and other aspects of the retreat that I am sure I have much more to see in this quaint little town.
Coconut Lagoon is a retreat on the Vembanad lake in Kerala that is cocooned in nature and makes for a break like no other.
The 50 key property has 28 Heritage bungalows, 14 Heritage mansions and 8 Deluxe Pool Villas. The best part is that these are all guided by the philosophy of natural and conscious living.
The food experiences in Coconut Lagoon are superlative and the culinary team is happy to ensure your meal preferences are taken care of.
Experiences range from sunset cruises, guided bird walks, yoga, traditional art and dance performances, kayaking, Ayurvedic massages and more.
